Year 7 Trip to France

On Friday 2 February Year 7 students from SKA travelled to France for the day.

The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the visit to Nausicaá, the largest aquarium in Europe, where students were able to observe and interact with an incredible array of marine life. This immersive experience not only deepened their understanding of the natural world, but also instilled in them a sense of empathy and respect for all living things, aligning with the IB learner profile’s attribute of being caring.

In addition to the educational benefits of the aquarium visit, our students also had the opportunity to practice their French language skills during our visit to Cité Europe. This real-life setting provided a unique opportunity for them to put their language skills into practice, reinforcing what they had learned in the classroom and helping to develop their communication skills.
